The Historical Society of Stillwater Township held its annual Peach Festival on Sunday, August 20th, at the Museum in Stillwater. It was extremely successful, with the weather being cooperative, the number of visitors that attended, the peaches we received from Windy Brow Farm that were transformed into a wonderful ice cream dessert, and the array of homemade baked goods that were supplied by our generous membership.

Don Thoenig and Una Lee Williams were on hand in their wonderful period costumes to entertain the guests with music.

Mr. Ray Hecht and his faithful crew brought their wagon and their matched team of Percheron horses to give wagon rides through town.

Many thanks to Edie Lambert and Carolyn, Special Events chairpersons, and their team of kitchen helpers and servers, resident photographer Bill Lambert, Ray Hecht, and Don and Una Lee for making this day so enjoyable for all!

Mr. Hecht gave guests horse-drawn carriage rides! What a treat!

Dressed in historic garb, Una Lee Williams greeted patrons and passerby

Don Thoenig's musical entertainment is enjoyed by all. Thanks Don!
