The Historical Society of Stillwater Township is dedicated to preserving as much as possible the past history of Stillwater and its surrounding area for citizens of the future. The Society welcomes donations of all kinds relating to the past history of Stillwater for inclusion in our museum. Old documents (deeds, maps, family papers), books (particularly dealing with the history within the Sussex County area), photos, newspaper articles, diaries, and family bibles are a few of the things that can tell us of the past. Old artifacts (indigenous to this area), tools (anything from farms, old area industry), hardware, historic costumes, jewelry, furniture, etc are also welcome for the museum display.

Architects Flat File Cabinet
Our Museum and Collections committee is currently seeking an architect's flat file cabinets for storage and preservation of documents and small items needing to be stored flat. The cabinet can be wood (preferable for the museum) but we can also use the metal type, as it will be used upstairs in the genealogy room. If you have one or know someone who may be interested in donated one to the Society please contact our president or mail us at:
