Sorry, we are out of stock on this item

Foreword
My Grandfather, Joseph H. Rosenkrans, lived between March 29, 1839 and June 24, 1899. He died twenty-three years before I was born. My Grandmother, Emma Rosenkrans, was born November 15, 1845 and died on December 17, 1924, two years after I was born. Her maiden name was Emma Celia Johnson, from Tranquility, New Jersey. William Alonzo Hill, my mother’s father, was born on March 30, 1857 and died on March 17, 1917, five years before I was born. I have no living memories of these people. I have often wondered what they would have been like in grandfather or grandmother to grandson relationship, as well as what life was like in their time, the 1800’s. 1 am writing down these memories of my life, hoping to bond a closer relationship and understanding between myself and my children and grandchildren as well as any future generations that may follow. I trust someone of you may wonder what his or her grandparents prayed and thought about, played and worked at, how they loved and lived so many years ago during the 1900’s. This is my reason for taking the time and the effort to write my memoirs.
